MISSION STATEMENT

Flyway connections podcast is here to connect new and veteran waterfowlers to the lifestyle of chasing cupped wings  and to promote non-profit organizations that are serving those who serve.

Let Valor & Honor Outdoors be your next guide to the great outdoors.

CHRIS

Mr. Tech

I'm the tech guy by default.

Why am I here?

When I was in the Army I always wanted to give back to our veteran community. After retiring, that desire only grew. Through Joe, I was fortunate enough to be connected with Valor & Honor Outdoors (VHO) - one of our closest partner organizations. Joe & I came up with this idea to podcast so we could highlight the good work that VHO does in serving those who serve. I would challenge anyone out there to visit Valor & Honor Outdoors and see how we can help.

JOE

Mr. Smartass

I'm just here to talk about ducks. I was born and raised in the outdoors. Fourth generation waterfowler and 100% addicted to chasing cupped wings. I have served in the United States Army for all my adult life and for the last five years I've had the pleasure of being part of Valor & Honor Outdoors. Love sharing my passion for waterfowling with my two sons and Veterans & First Responders.

MEYER

The Dog Guy

The adrenaline when you hear those wing beats just before shooting light! The dogs, the pursuit, the mud, marsh, rain & cold (& sometimes the heat a la Texas Teal). Too much to love to sleep in. The other Joe turned me onto the sport when we were serving together in the 82nd Airborne Division and I haven't looked back since. Seven seasons later and we're still chasing ducks & sharing our best & worst that the seasons can throw at us. Best of all, by the grace of God, we're building a community of friends that are dedicated to sharing these seasons & the grind with us.

SHARP

The Add On

I met the guys while I was guiding a Valor and Honor Outdoors hunt in Arkansas, and we just hit it off from there. Since I’m the only non-service member I’m the “add on” of the group. My passion for waterfowl started at a young age and has continued to grow; I am a full-time guide and enjoy talking about all things waterfowl. Looking forward to learning and growing as a waterfowl throughout this journey.”
